Cannes danse festival
The Dance Festival will be held in Cannes from 19 to 24 November at the Palais des Festivals. Frédéric Flamand, director of the event, set this year 2013 under the sign of the trace and reflection. The program offers a reflection on the relationship between man and machine.
The trace memory and the unconscious, but also the trace drawn on the ground. The reflection made him call for the use by the other dance disciplines such as writing, painting and video.
The choreographer Shen Wei propose two ballets which is a reference to the Belgian surrealist painter Paul Delvaux.
Canada’s Marie Chouinard will highlight the relationship between the body and writes aveclL’utilisation painting and writing.
The company own Frédéric Flamand, the Ballet National de Marseille Titanic offer an extremely narrative ballet with a reflection on the notion of progress and the fragility of our technological systems.
Virgilio Sieni, replay the human comedy made for laughter and derision, but also of beauty and dark shadows in his ballet “De Anima”.
Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker offer a fascinating spectacle with her company Rosas accompanied on stage by the Contemporary Music Ensemble Ictus performing his powerful score for percussion Steve Reich. Blanca Li will feature eight dancers and eight robots in a choreography that questions the relationship between man and machine
It will also include the work of Jonah Bokaer figure avant-garde choreography New York, Victor Hugo Pontes with seven dancers make up a kind of strange animal, Michel Kelemenis which offer an inspired performance of the Egyptian oasis Siwa, or even the company that Castafiore system with Renee botanist hyperbole plans explores territories of memory.

L’ Architecture Marine est le thème du concours Cannes photo awards, organisé par le port de Cannes.
Pour concourir il suffit de s’inscrire directement sur le site www.cannesphotoawards.com et soumettre clichés avant le 16 juin 2013 à minuit.
Les participants seront invités à la soirée de remise des prix. Une exposition des clichés lauréats de chaque catégorie sera organisée sur le port de Cannes, avec de grands noms de la photographie.
Il y a 4 catégories :
- Enfants (jusqu’à 12 ans),
- Adolescents (13 à 17 ans),
- Adultes (à partir de 18 ans),
- Professionnels photographes ou architectes(doit être titulaire d’un BAC+1 dans cette spécialité et/ou être enregistré en tant que professionnel).
